While working in the industry, I traded everything for work. And like most professionals, I thought when I pour all my time, effort and dedication to my job, everything else will be okay. But I was wrong, I focused on the wrong ball.

According to former Coca-Cola CEO Brian Dyson, when you want to understand balance, you need to picture your life as a game which you are juggling 5 balls in the air. You name them your work, family, health, spirit, love/friends. Your goal is to keep them in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back.

But the other four balls - family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same.
